Forecast Decoder:

The North Pacific High is slowly gathering its strength west of Baja and the Pacific side sees mid-teens NW wind today. A bit of that wind reaches the Sea of Cortez as NNW wind that barely reaches the sand. The model output suggests cloud coverage all day but in the satellite imagery, I can see a large blue

patch that may come over the Coastal Valleys mid-afternoon. IF that happens we could see winds to near the mid-teens.

The North Pacific High finally awakens late Wednesday and then surges towards Baja Norte and the 4-Corners region.

At the same time low-pressure develops south of Cabo. So winds ramp up Wednesday then mature Thursday and we move into a prolonged windy period.
