I hope every one saw this notice in the AM forecast:

“Be ready for a chance of abrupt fades, especially on Peninsula” and Crissy was really up and down as forecast.

he strong winds just aloft mentioned in the forecast today form ripples as they hit higher hills.

This causes slow moving standing waves where there are marine layer clouds you can see in the AM satellite imagery.

Beyond the fog where these ripples touch down it causes a period of strong winds. Where the ripple lifts from the surface, you get a long lull or even a complete fade
