Saturday’s Wind Recipe: Rio Daze is milder but solid!
- The North Pacific High FINALLY gets rid of that eddy inducing ridge into far Northern California. So Eddy DIES!
- So our ocean winds turn from SSW to WNW and curve to almost every site in the Bay Area as…
- The Central Valley low retreats back to the Sacramento, Stockton and towards Bakersfield zone
- This brings reliable upper-teens to low 20’s+ winds to Palo Alto, Coyote and 3rd launch sites as the Bakersfield gradient builds.
- The Stockton gradient brings upper-teens to near mid 20’s winds to the Anita Rock to TI to Berkeley bit weaker Pt. Isabel, Race Track.
- Sherman strong dawn fading to upper-teens to low 20’s and stronger in the PM.
- The coast (remember the coast?) sees mid-teens for Bodega and upper-teens to low 20’s for Waddell.
