Many areas are protected by the Department of Natural Resources and often patrolled by DNR Rangers.
Respect the fauna and the wildlife, especially nesting turtles and birds. Turtle nesting season is from May to October.
Stay out of swim zones (look for buoys) follow the 100 yard rule to stay away from swimmers, surfers, and beach goers.

Coligny Beach Park area includes North Forest Beach to the north and South Forest Beach to the south.

Low Tide: Extensive mud flat between beach and water.
High Tide: Limited beach area may make launching a challenge for beginners.
